Who to talk to, what we can give you, and what we will not do. Short, because a press page is a practical document rather than a place to reprint compliments.

What we can supply
- High-resolution photographs of the room, the bar and the food, cleared for editorial use.
- The current menus as text, which is what most writers actually want and what almost nobody can supply quickly.
- Accurate factual detail: seat counts, opening dates, who cooks what. Ask rather than assume — we would much rather answer a question than read a guess.
What we will not do
- Comp a meal in exchange for coverage, from anybody, including people with large followings. This is not a judgement, it is just a line, and it applies evenly.
- Ask for copy approval, or ask to see a piece before it runs.
- Shoot in the dining room during service. Before eleven in the morning, any day we are open, and the light is better then anyway.
Why there are no reviews on this page
Because a wall of pull-quotes is the least informative thing a restaurant can put on its website, and because the ones that go up tend to stay up long after they stopped describing the place. If somebody has written about us, you can find it in about four seconds, and you should read the whole thing rather than the eleven words we chose.
And an honest disclosure, since this is a press page. Woodside Table is a fictional restaurant and this is a demonstration website. Nobody has reviewed it, no publication has written about it, and it holds no award, rating or guide listing of any kind. If a page like this ever quotes one at you, on any restaurant's site, it is worth checking.
