37-24 61st Street, Woodside, NY 11377
Hours and directions
We are on 61st Street between Roosevelt Avenue and 39th Drive, two minutes' walk from the station. Closed Mondays, like almost every independent restaurant — and the bar keeps later hours than the kitchen does.
Kitchen hours
| Day | Lunch and dinner |
|---|---|
| Monday | Closed |
| Tuesday to Friday | 12:00pm - 3:00pm, 5:00pm - 10:00pm |
| Saturday | 10:30am - 3:00pm, 5:00pm - 11:00pm |
| Sunday | 10:30am - 3:00pm, 5:00pm - 9:00pm |
The last table of each service is seated early enough for the turn to finish before we close, so the kitchen is not cooking a main course at closing time. How long you have the table.

The bar runs later than the kitchen every night. Food carries on for about an hour after the kitchen closes, then it is drinks only. About the bar.
Getting here
- 61st Street–Woodside on the 7, and the Long Island Rail Road platform above it

- Metered street parking on 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue; no car park of our own
Parking
There is no car park and we are not going to imply there is. Metered street parking runs along 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue and is usually findable on a weeknight and a genuine nuisance on a Saturday. If you are driving from Maspeth or Middle Village it is still probably the easiest way in; from anywhere on the 7, the train is quicker.
Getting in
The entrance from 61st Street is step-free, and there is an accessible washroom on the ground floor. The private room is on the same level as the dining room. The pavement seating, which runs from May to October, is down two steps and is the one part of the building that is not step-free — tell us when you book and we will keep you inside. More on access.
37-24 61st Street, Woodside, NY 11377. The nearest corner is 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue, under the elevated tracks. If you come out of the station and can see the 7 train above you, walk one block south and we are on the left, with a plane tree outside and the light on.
Tuesday to Sunday · closed Mondays
Book a table
Pick a date, tell us how many of you there are, and the form shows the times we can actually seat that many — not every time we are open. Parties of eight and under book instantly; nine or more becomes a private dining enquiry, because a group that size needs a room and a set menu rather than a table. The twelve bar seats are never reservable, so there is always somewhere to eat here without a booking.
