Children's menu

Four things, all of them smaller versions of food we actually cook, priced so that bringing a child here is not a penalty. We have three high chairs and they are first come first served — tell us when you book and we will hold one.

What is in these dishes

Each dish above lists the allergen components it contains. These are the ones that appear on this menu:

  • Cereals containing gluten
  • Milk
  • Egg
  • Fish
  • Celery

A dish marked “made without” a component is a statement about that one component and nothing else. It is not a statement that the plate is safe for an allergy — please read the allergens page, which explains exactly why we will not make that claim about a kitchen this size.

The dish you read about may not be on. About a third of the dinner menu changes with the season, and single dishes change more often than that. This is not a marketing rhythm — it is what happens when the person doing the ordering is allowed to say the fish is not good enough this week. It has one consequence for you: the dish you read about here may not be on when you arrive. The menus on this site are updated the day they change in the kitchen, and if you are coming specifically for something, call and ask rather than trusting the page.

Birthday cake yes, other outside food no. You may bring a cake for a birthday and we will plate it, cut it and charge $4 a person for doing so. We cannot take any other outside food, and this is a health code obligation rather than a preference: we are responsible for everything served in this room and we cannot be responsible for something we did not make or store. The same applies in the private room, where people ask most often.

Choose the date and the number of people and the form will show you the times we can genuinely seat that many. If nothing suits, the waitlist is a real list rather than a form that goes nowhere — and the bar takes no bookings at all, which is why there is usually somewhere to sit.
